Visual/Art Submission

Who: Youth ages 14-19/Grades 9-12 in Treaty Territories 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 (Saskatchewan).

The artwork may be featured on this website as a legacy project.

What: Create artwork or a visual representation to answer the question: What does the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation mean to you?

Please take two good-quality photographs of the creation.

When: Due date is July 15th, 2022 at 4:30 pm CST. The first 50 submissions will be entered.

How: Please follow the assessment rubrics found here. Fill out the form below with all of the required information and upload two good-quality photographys of the artwork/creation. Unclear or poor imagery will not be accepted.

Volunteer judges will choose eight (8) artwork finalists. Judges' decisions are final. $1,000.00 will be awarded to each of the 8 finalists. One submission per group/individual per category.

Finalists will be contacted and further information will be requested before awarding prizes. The following information is needed from all finalists:

  • Media/Release Parental consent form for youth under the age of 16.
  • Media/Release Consent form for youth ages 17-19.
